Man I am never on here. Really! I mostly hang out on Tumblr. Or facebook. I also never really check my messages? Currently studying IT and subsequently Game Design, so a lot of my time is away from doing art. Nyeh.

I mean, this profile has pretty much been dead for the last two years. And for somewhat good reason. I've been busy studying game design for the last two years. Pretty fun, actually. I've gotten to know lots of fun and interesting and engaging and enthusiastic and inspiring people, been to fun events, even been to MCM Expo as part of a school trip.

So my year has been pretty great, though I haven't really produced much art-wise (at least not digitally), and since my standards for what I'd want to release are now way higher than previously (seriously I take one look at my gallery and go 'ugh'), it'll probably be a little while until I submit something here.

So anyways, two years of inactivity with gradual improvement along the way. Maybe I've mastered the Haki, and will finally return to my quest of becoming the Pirate King. Who knows. Just expect my stuff to be at a higher standard that previously (though not too amazing because the disappointment would be a bit too much).

In forever. Tumblr, school and pretending to have a life has kept me from it. Also haven't really bothered to prepare any of my doodles and drawings and works for internet-publishing (i.e: Saving .psd's as .png's and digitalizing pencil drawings and whatnot and actually doing anything at all in flash and shit)

So yeah. What's up, people of deviantart?

So yeah, almost 24 hours ago I became 18. fun thing? Apparently having three hours left until you're eighteen doesn't get you into concerts.

I'll start at the beginning. Over two months ago, during easter, i found out that Stephen Lynch, one of my comedic idols, was coming to Norway. to add to better effect, he was coming here the weekend of my birthday.

Or, he was having a concert in Oslo on the 18th. So I got my whole family into going "Hey, why not celebrate this coming of age by going to the concert of an artist who's almost never in Norway? It could be destiny!"

And so we bought tickets.

Fast forward to the eighteenth. My mom was in another county at an auction that was relevant for her work, and had found out that she wouldn't get home in time to join us for the concert. My older brother found out that he was going out with friends that had come over to visit instead.

And so it was only me and my dad left to go. So we had to find two friends to bring. I eventually found a friend from school who could go, and told her to bring her boyfriend if he was available.

And so we eventually arrived at the queue to get in at the concert. After having stood in the queue for almost half an hour to get in, we arrived at the door. They saw our I.D's and turned us back. I could understand why my friend and her guy were turned back (they still had a few months to go before their 18th), but apparently me, having about 3 hours left before I actually was of proper age to go to this concert was not able to come in. Even with my dad (who's turning sixty this year) acting as our guardian, and us aiming to sit in the one part of the concert hall where they didn't sell alcohol, we were still turned back.

Mildly pissed, we decided just to walk away. Couldn't even sell the tickets either, cause anyone with an interest for the concert had already gotten some and thus either entered or left.

But I decided I shouldn't let that get me down. Saying goodbye to my friends, I decided to go with my dad to the closest cinema to watch a movie. We found the one movie that was interesting: Kung fu Panda 2, and watched that. And it was awesome. Evening well spent.

Skip forward again to today. Birthday party! Celebrating that I had finally turned eighteen and could now legally go into places where I could refuse being served alcohol. Also: Shopping online.

But yeah. Friends came over. We decided to just watch some movies. What movies, you might hypothetically ask? Well, I pulled forth three: Despicable Me (dreamworks), Megamind (also dreamworks) and How To Train Your Dragon (yep, you guessed it: dreamworks). Pausing at times to eat pizza and cake (and opening presents at one point), we watched them all, in respective order.

Twas fun.

Day well spent.

Sooooo..... sup?
